Who are Jeans for Genes?
Jeans for Genes is a children’s charity which aims to change the world for children with genetic disorders. They raise money to fund the day to day care and support services that children and families need now and the research which could improve, extend or save their lives in the future
What are genetic disorders?
1 in 25 children in the UK are affected by genetic disorders. There are more than 4,000 recognized genetic conditions and many more which have yet to be identified. Although individually they are rare, together they account for more than half of all childhood deaths in the UK. It is possible for many children to have a brighter future because of Jeans for Genes.
GET INVOLVED - What is Jeans for Genes Day?
Jeans for Genes Day is held on Friday 1st October, when millions of office workers and school children ditch their suits and uniforms, wear jeans and make a small donation to raise money for children affected by genetic disorders. Of every order placed on the website, £1 will be given to Jeans for Genes.
